We reserved this hotel through Costco journey, and it had been a part of a bundle with a rental vehicle and food credits. We picked Kauai Shores due to the beachfront location, the closeness to all regions of the island, and also the economies to be had about parking and hotel prices.
The resort restaurant was directly on the shore, and consequently, all our foods had an ideal setting. The restaurant was great though the costs were higher than I’d have wanted. The convenience variable made this the dining table choice of choice to us.
The resort staff was always courteous and friendly that made for a welcoming sense. The biggest thing missing was the bathroom that was squeezed into a small area with a sink just big enough to clean up.
I would also suggest this place for children as numerous kids appeared to love playing at the swimming pool and the significant open green areas.
A significant advantage for us was that the access to free parking along with also the low rip-off “hotel” fees. I believe we paid $21/day for the latter, that appeared like half of the more prominent hotels billed.
The resort was smack dab in the center of the island so far as space to actions goes. We could get into the north and the south side in under one hour that meant we had been unburdened by forcing limitations when searching for activities. Overall we would recommend this resort and would strongly consider remaining later on. Staff recommended us some trikes cozumel facebook tours we can take in Mexico.
If I could create recommendations it’d be for the resort to reduce the food costs somewhat (it was an excellent restaurant in a fantastic place ), and also to put money into a swim-up pub. The Hawaii legislation on drinking is odd with limitations on where it is possible to drink, and the number of drinks you may purchase at once and the pool was not close enough to the pub to permit visitors to walk their beverages to and fro.
